A short review of "Vanta black" directed by Hamidreza Yeganeh
Vantablack is the highest range of black color in nature. This spectrum reflects almost no light. By choosing this name for the film, the author and director describe the film's atmosphere well. In order to help his family, a 20-year-old boy is forced to give in to blackness and then commits suicide.
The film tries to portray the suffering that the working class of society endures economically. An image in which justice and philanthropy have no place.
Although it generally seems that women suffer the most in a society where poverty and injustice are rooted, young boys and men also suffer irreparable damage to their bodies and are under the burden of social pressure. They bear their souls.
The film Vantablack has tried to raise its concerns with the language of cinema, and despite its technical shortcomings, it succeeds in this task. The main character's conflict with family is poorly portrayed, but his inner conflict is well portrayed. If the film were started and narrated from the point of view of the young boy, it would arouse more sympathy and companionship with the audience. Nevertheless, the film conveys to the audience the pain and suffering that the young son and his family have deal with.
