Plot

"The Last Day" is the story of the last meeting between a mother and his son in the final hours before his execution order.

Director Resume

Farzad Samimi, born on October 18, 1999, in Tehran, is a film director and screenwriter. He received his education in filmmaking under the guidance of Abbas Kia rostami, Asghar Farhadi, and Saeed Roustaee. He has gained practical experience working on the film "Leila's Brothers." His cinematic goal is to depict the awakening of love and humanity.

Director statement

Isn't it better, right at this moment, to stand in front of our anger, and control it? Shouldn't we stop killing each other? Who can say with certainty that the execution of a human being is fair?
I wish we would forgive and love each other before humanity is completely destroyed. More than anything, our world needs the seeds of love to be planted and fertilized in its every corner.
