Farhad, a man with schizophrenia, lives in a parallel world where he imagines himself as an important political figure. He delivers speeches against the government, convinced that secret agents are after him. Deeply in love with a woman named Sara, whom he meets on a specific day of the month, Farhad’s delusions grow stronger, pulling him further from reality. When two men come to take him away, Farhad believes they are secret agents, but in the end, he realizes they are from a psychiatric hospital.

"For the first time, I encountered someone with schizophrenia who was telling stories about a celebrity. The story was purely imaginary; they had never met that person. I found it fascinating how strongly and convincingly they lived in their mental world, to the point where the line between reality and imagination had blurred.

It seemed as though they were living entirely within the mental space they had created for themselves.

Making this film is important to me because I want to show others that there are people around us who, due to schizophrenia, are immersed in their mental worlds and experience reality in a different way.

In this film, I have tried to depict everything that goes on in their minds and used non-linear storytelling to get closer to their mental experience.

In the early days, I worked to come to terms with the fact that people with schizophrenia live in such mental spaces."
