Director's statement:
Can the dream make me closer to the real world? The truth in which animals break their silence and inform us from tomorrow that we will not be able to see it. In my opinion this silence express "knowing the end" not "ignorance". According to their perception, these animals have been silent and we, regard to the ability to communicate, consider ourselves as a "God" and "protector of the earth". For me, the "cow" is the embodiment of truth, which we cruelly reproduced, changed it in different shapes, Consumed in different ways And eventually something will be hidden that exists everywhere. This issue has led to the making a movie named "Qutar". A term in Azeri language that means to "finish". The movie is about some cows that ran away from a cottage. The next day, a planet approaches the earth. the owner of the cottage leaves his crippled son out of fear and runs away. Then the cows return to the cottage and the innocent son becomes a victim of his father's sins. In Iranian culture, we believe nature as an alive and conscious concept, and nature's behavior towards us is formed by the relationship with human beings. In Iranian culture ,There is a myth called "earthcow". This myth says that the earth is placed between the two horns of the cow and the cow moves when it gets tired. At that time, the earth shakes and causes destruction. To me, the cow is an allegory of nature, which in this age is cruelly reproduced for consumption. We have to expect the day when nature revolts against us. On that day, all the houses will break down and no one will stay at home. Regretfully we will be swallowed by the host wherever we are
