Summary of the movie "The Woman's Life"

Atefeh,along with her 5-year-old daughter, escapes from her bigoted and religious husband's house and has been living in an old friend's house for some time. However, Atieh is forced to engage in prostitution to make ends meet and earn a minimum income until her husband tracks her down and comes looking for her.

Her husband tries to forcefully take the child away from Atefeh so he can raise her in his own way, but Atefeh and her daughter escape from her husband's grasp.

Until her husband runs over Atefeh in a sideway street in order to erase this disgrace from her life forever.

Statement of "The Woman’s Life"

For years, women in Iran have been subject to discrimination under Islamic rule and have been deprived of many of their rights. Women have been considered as captives in the hands of men in this land. However, in the recent "Women, Life, Freedom" movement, powerful Iranian women have shown that they are determined to change this historical issue and will succeed in this path.
